dealer division of Herzog Heine Geduld, (bought out by Merrill in 2000 & sold to Investec); Ormes
Capital Markets, Head of Special Situations in all fixed income. Joined Carolina Capital Markets in August
of 2004. Graduated from St. John's University with a BS in Finance.
Scott Cunningham
Fixed Income Sales/Trader. Scott was previously with Edward Jones and Sandler O'Neill & Partners,
before starting with CCM in August 2006. Scott is in charge of Research and Technology under the
Sales/Trading Division. Scott graduated from Vanderbilt University with a BE in Mechanical Engineering.
Scott played Varsity Soccer at Vanderbilt.
Melissa Pendergrass
Fixed Inome Sales/Trader. Melissa joined CCM in June 2007. Melissa received her MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business
School in Corporate Finance. Before business school, Melissa worked in Washington, DC in legislative affairs for
financial insitutions. Melissa received her Bachelor of Arts from the Universityof North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Philip Quatrale
Philip Quatrale has over 12 years experience in Fixed income markets. He joined CCM in 2001 after receiving his MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
At Notre Dame, Philip was named a Kenneth Meyer Scholar for excellence in financial studies. Previously, he was at Merrill Lynch & Co. in their Asset Management division where he gained valuable experince in fixed income trading and marketing.
